Margaret's parents were Hungarian immigrants who came to South Bend, IN, during the early 1900s. Many times she talked about how their father passed away when she and her four sisters were young, and her mother raised five children. They were proud of their heritage and independence.

Margaret enjoyed traveling and made a "round the world" trip with her husband in the 1960s. She also accompanied her son on a trip to Hungary. Margaret was a very high-spirited and talented woman, mother, grandmother and housewife who delighted in doing things for her family.

Some of her many talents and accomplishments included cooking and sharing her recipes with her family and friends, especially the Hungarian foods her family loved; knitting, crocheting, sewing (many costumes, afghans and fine clothes); and constructing a doll house from scratch for her granddaughter.

When Margaret was 75 she took up the hobby of making stained glass, and at 80 years she became interested in china painting. She would give her stained glass and china to her family and friends. She always had a "project to work on," and will be sorely missed by all!

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bristol, IN.
