SOUTH BEND - Eldeen M. Buckland, 49, of South Kentucky Street, died at 4:15 a.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Buckland was born Oct. 30, 1945, in South Bend.

On March 7, 1970, in South Bend, as Eldeen Arndt, she married Earl W. Buckland. He survives with three daughters, Johana Frey, Kristi Buckland and Jennifer Buckland, all of South Bend; a son, Anthony of Mishawaka; two grandchildren; her stepfather, Frank Capoferri of Grand Rapids; a sister, Nancy Maronek of Martin, Mich.; and a brother, Del Arndt of Granger.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eldeen M. Buckland Memorial Fund.
