MISHAWAKA - Dale F. Buck Sr., 58, of Mishawaka, died at 9:47 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2008, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 12, 1950, to Harold E. and Hattie D. (Gill) Buck, who preceded him in death. Dale is survived by his four children, Holly Quier, Christina (Jay) Rantz, Dale (Tammy) Buck Jr. and Steven (Shelley) Buck. He was a loving grandfather to nine grandchildren, Dalana, Justin, Cody, Braydon, Blake, Brooklyn, Cruze, Amber and Michael. He is survived by his sisters, Gloria Jean, Frances, Linda, Betty and Melanie; and by two brothers, Mike and Richard.

Mr. Buck was preceded in death by his wife, Shawna Kay Buck, on August 17, 2005, to whom he was married on May 20, 2004. Also preceding him in death were his two brothers, Harold and Lonnie. Dale served as a Marine during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged in 1974. He was a welder, having been employed with Reese Hitches of Elkhart.

Friends may visit with the family from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12th, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel. The memorial service will be held at 5 p.m., with Rev. Earl Smith officiating. He will be laid to rest with Shawna Kay at Fairview Cemetery. We will miss you tremendously Dad! Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
