Mrs. Bertha H. Brzezniak, 74, of 628
N. Birdsell, died at 2:17 p.m. Sunday in St Joseph Hospital after
an extended illness. She was born on May 11, 1902, in South Bend,
and lived here all her life. She retired in 1965 from the
Uniroyal Corp., Mishawaka, where she had been employed 35 years.
As Bertha Rybacki, she married Frank
J. Sepanek, on Oct. 19, 1922. He died on Dec. 28, 1931. On
Feb. 4, 1933, she married Thaddeus Brzezniak, who died on Jan. 2,
1975. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Donovan, and
a son, Robert F. Sepanek, both of South Bend: 10 grandchildren:
five great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Sophie Kurdys,
Mrs. Blanche Thomczak, and Mrs. Steila Muzolf, all
of South Bend. She was a member of the Apostleship of Prayer of
St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and
2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Kaniewski and Son Funeral Home.
