SOUTH BEND - Casimir T. Brzezinski, 96, passed away on
Jan. 4 in Cardinal Nursing Home, South Bend. Casimir was born on
Nov. 13, 1911, to the late John and Petronela (Walkowski)
Brzezinski.
On Dec. 31, 1942, he married Eva in South
Bend, she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by
his brothers, Joe, Alek, Clem, Chester and Eddie; and by his two
sisters, Helen and Cecelia Urbanski. He is survived by
nieces, Mary Ann (Gene) Sechowski, Kathleen Agostino,
Cindy (Doug) Baumgartner, Patricia (Loren) Eck,
Shirley (John) Erstad, and Judy (Fred) Sulok;
nephew, Daniel (Colleen) Mincinski; many great-nieces and
nephews; several great-great-nieces and nephews; a
great-great-great-nephew; and by a sister, Severine Mincinski of
Mesa, AZ. Casimir retired from Wheelabrator in 1977 after 24
years of service. He was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic
Church, American Legion Post 357 and the PNA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 7 in St. Adalbert Catholic
Church. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, South
Bend. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend
is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made to
St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 2505 W. Grace St., South Bend, IN
46619 or to Harbor Light Hospice.
