Lester Verle Brugh, 83, of West
Marion Street, Mishawaka, died at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, in
his residence. Lester was born Oct. 31, 1912, in the Pas
Manitoba, Canada. He had lived here since 1937. Lester retired
from Dodge Reliance in 1975 after 38 years of service.
Lester married the former W. Eunice Heaton
on Dec. 25, 1937, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She survives with
two daughters, Shiela Reiter of Lemont, Ill. and Sandra Friedman
of Elk, Wash.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He
was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Mr. Brugh was
a member of Masonic Lodge 130, St. Joseph Valley Scottish Rite,
Eagles Lodge 2083, Dodge Management Club and First United
Methodist Church of Mishawaka.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at The
Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. where friends may
call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Mark Ingle will
officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to First United
Methodist Church.
