Mrs. Virginia Bruggner, 71, of 1667 Riverside, died at 11:31 a.m. today in St. Joseph’s Hospital. The McGann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services for Mrs. Virginia (Hull) Bruggner, 71, of 1667 Riverside, who died at 11:31 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph’s Hospital after an extended illness, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Rev. William Neidhart, C.S.C., pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Born on June 26, 1903, in South Bend, Mrs. Bruggner had lived here her lifetime. On April 24, 1924, in South Bend, she married Louis V. Bruggner, who died Dec. 29, 1969. Surviving are a son, William of Mishawaka; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Carberry of South Bend; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bruggner was a member of the St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary, the Indiana Club, the Christ Child Society, and the Elks Lodge Auxiliary. She was also a past president of the Women’s Club of South Bend Country Club.
