SOUTH BEND — Karen Ann Brown, 79, of Westmoor Street, died Friday in Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Willie; a daughter, Jean Utley of Buchanan; and two stepsons, Jesse Brown Sr. and Clark Brown, both of Berkeley, Calif. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Alford's Mortuary.
