Elsie J. Browning, 66, of Longwood Drive, South Bend, Ind., died at 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, in her residence. She was born in Mishawaka, Ind., on June 23, 1931, and had been a lifelong area resident.
Elsie married Lester l. Browning in South Bend on July 9, 1977. He survives. Elsie is also survived by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Holliday of South Bend; three sons, David H. Klockow of Mishawaka, Ronald F. and Kenneth Klockow, both of South Bend; a stepdaughter, Rebecca Thomas of Osceola, Ind.; two stepsons, Robert E. and Timothy L. Browning, both of South Bend; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and by a brother, Jess Mosteter of Prescott, Calif. Elsie enjoyed her hobbies of fishing, going camping and attending horse shows with her husband.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph County Hospice. The Bubb Funeral Chapel North is handling arrangements.
