Clinton C. Brown, aged about 54, of Newton, Mass., a former resident of South Bend and Battle Creek, Mich., and a brother-in-law of Mrs. Frank J. Bruggner, of this city died in Newton Thursday afternoon. Funeral rites will take place in Newton Saturday with burial in Battle Creek on Sunday. Mr. Brown married Miss Hazel Berkey in South Bend in October 1913, and has resided in the east since that time. He was a dealer in wool and traveled extensively in this country and in South America. Surviving besides his widow are a daughter Mrs. Frank O’Donnell of New York city; two sons, Charles Brown and Clinton C. Brown Jr., both of Newton, and a brother Charles Brown of New York city.
