Bennie P. Brown, Jr., 33, of Prairie Avenue, South Bend, Ind., died in Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Oct. 31. He was born in Mishawaka, Ind., on Nov. 12, 1965, and had lived in this area most of his life. Bennie was employed at U-Haul in South Bend. He enjoyed working out at Dave's Gym in South Bend and at the Michiana Workout Company in Mishawaka. He married the former Tara Williams on June 13, 1998, in South Bend. She survives. Bennie is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Elsie Brown of Collinwood, Tenn.; his father, Bennie P. Brown, Sr., of Mishawaka; his mother and stepfather, Phyllis J. and Tony McWilliams, Sr., of Mishawaka; a daughter, Tawny, and two sons, Anthony and Christopher, all of South Bend. Bennie is also survived by two sisters, Melanie Sebastian of Osceola, Ind., and Kristie Pullin of South Bend; a stepsister, Sunshine McWilliams of South Bend; and by a stepbrother, Tony McWilliams, Jr., of South Bend.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home, with Pastor Ronald Drake officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
