South Bend – Mrs. Helen Marie Brothers, 52, of 722 N. Scott Street, died at 8:32 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born on July 7, 1907, she was a lifetime resident of South Bend.

As Helen Marie Beriault she was married to Raymond B. Brothers on July 7, 1927. He survives with a daughter, Mrs. John Meredith, of Gary; four grandchildren and two brothers, Paul Beriault, South Bend and Frederick W. Beriault, Indianapolis.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Orvis Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Cross Catholic Church with Rev. George J. Welsh C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Groive Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home
