Harold F. Brothers Sr.

SOUTH BEND - Harold F. Brothers Sr., 82, of Allen Street, died at 12:09 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Brothers retired in 1979 from the South Bend Wastewater Treatment Plant as a compressor operator. He was born Sept. 27, 1912, in South Bend. On Oct. 6, 1932, in Valparaiso, he married Evelyn Keefer. She died Jan. 24, 1994. He is survived by a daughter, Judy K. Goepfrich of Ossian, Ind.; a son, Harold F. Jr. of Granger; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie Fisher of Pompano Beach, Fla.; and a brother, Gerold of South Bend. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
