Garold T. Brothers

May 3, 1914 - July 17, 2000

Garold T. Brothers, 86, of Council Oak Drive, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Monday, July 17, in Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Brothers was born on May 3, 1914, in South Bend, to the late William Brothers and Minta Ammons. On Dec. 26, 1945, Garold married Olga Wartha, who preceded him in death in 1984.

He retired after 40 years of service with the Ward Baking Company.

He is survived by a sister, Marie Fisher of Pompano Beach, Fla., and by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brothers was a member of Corpus Christi Church, was a Golden Eagle, Eagles Lodge #435, and was a World War II Air Force veteran.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, in Corpus Christi Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, July 19, in the KANIEWSKI Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where a parish Rosary will be held at 4:30 p.m.
