Clara B. Brockus, 92, of West Catalpa
Dr. in Mishawaka, died at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, April 20th, in St.
Paul's Health Care. She was born in South Bend on March 7, 1913,
to Charles and Myrtle (Keene) Buck.
Clara married Earl Brockus on Sept. 1, 1939,
in South Bend. Earl preceded her in death on June 27, 1998. She
was also preceded by her parents, two sisters, Edna Anderson,
Lucille Roberts, four brothers, Floyd Buck, Cecil Buck,
Gordon Buck and Russell (Red) Buck. Clara is survived by many
loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brockus had formerly worked at
the South Bend Bait Company and for Century Soft Water. She was a
member of South Bend Turners for many years and Albright United
Methodist Church. Clara was very social, always on the go. She
loved to golf and go bowling. She had a good sense of humor and
loved to tell jokes.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday,
April 25th, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St.
Mishawaka. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, in
the funeral home, with Rev. Warren Kirkwood officiating. Burial
will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Albright United Methodist Church or to Hospice of St. Joseph
County.
