SOUTH BEND - Robert Wahl Britton, 76, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died at 4:40 p.m. Thursday in his home in Fort Myers. Mr. Britton was a self-employed farmer and construction worker. He was born Feb. 19, 1918, in South Bend.

On Sept. 30, 1967, in Las Vegas, he married Betty Jane DeGraff. She survives with a daughter, Ruth J. Albaugh of Elkhart; a son, Jimmy Allen of Carmel, Ind.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Eagles 435 and Loyal Order of the Moose 58, and Grace United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
