Mrs. Daisy M. Brinley

October 1, 1876 - November 18, 1954

Mrs. Daisy M. Brinley, 2119 Portage Ave., was dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital at 7:45pm Thursday.  She had been ill two weeks.  Mrs. Brinley was born in Ford County IL, October 1, 1876, and came here in 1910 from Goshen IN.  She was married in Gibson City IL, December 4, 1898, to Charles E Brinley who died May 13, 1947.

Surviving are four sons, Cecil E, Homer R., Dale M. and Wilson J., all of South Bend; four daughters, Mrs. Bernice B. Sasse, Mrs. Hazel Smith, Mrs. Ruth Donnelley and Mrs. Maybelle Adams, all of South Bend; 21 grandchildren and three great grandchildren

Friends may call after 7pm today in the Orvis Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday in Trinity Methodist Church with Rev. Harold Joyce, of the Hammond IN Methodist Church, former pastor of Trinity Church, and Rev L.N. Campbell, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.  The body will be in state in Trinity Church from 12:30pm Monday until the funeral.
