Mrs. Emma A. Brinkman

July 15, 1884 – December 26, 1961

Mrs. Emma A. Brinkman, 77, of 720 E Wenger St., died at 4:55am today in the Morrow Nursing Home following a year’s illness.

She was born in South Bend on July 15, 1884, and had lived here all her life.  Her husband, Fred, died in 1949.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Sigmand Nurenberg of South Bend; a brother, Herman Wagner of South Bend, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call after 7pm today in the Orvis Funeral Home.  Services will be at 2pm Thursday in the funeral home with Rev. Herbert Tetzlaff, pastor of St Peter’s United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery
