Sandy A. Brewington, 67, residing on Jefferson Knolls Drive, Osceola, Ind., passed away at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, March 16, in her home. She retired from the Uniroyal Corporation in 1990 following 26 years of service, and had also worked at RACO. She was born on Aug. 25, 1935, in Vermillion County, Ind., to William and Dorothy (Ringle) Thompson.

In April 1972, she married Horace "Snooks" Brewington, who survives. Surviving with her husband, Horace of Osceola, are a daughter, Lisa Miller-Feathers of South Bend, Ind.; two sons, Ronald (Priscilla) Miller of South Bend and Richard Miller of Elkhart, Ind.; and seven grandchildren, Danny Sizemore, Brittany Feathers, Crystal Feathers, Bo Feathers, Brandon Miller, Leslie Ford and Jessica Miller. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Max, Billy, Dick and Jerry Thompson. Sandy loved to shop and travel. She loved to give to everyone.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Rev. Ed Erskin will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
