SOUTH BEND - Loretta Margaret Brennan, 90, of St. Paul's Retirement Community, formerly of Catalpa Street and Notre Dame Avenue, died at 10:44 a.m. Sunday in the nursing home. Miss Brennan retired in 1966 as secretary to the dean of the College of Arts and Letters of the University of Notre Dame after 26 years of service. She was born Sept. 26, 1903, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. She is survived by several nieces, including Inez Huys of South Bend; and several nephews, including Thomas Gray of Mishawaka, and Robert Brennan and James Brennan, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd., where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
