MISHAWAKA - Bernadine M. Brechtl, 73,
of 54757 Merrifield Drive, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in her home
after an illness. Mrs. Brechtl was born Jan. 14, 1922, in
Lafayette, Ind.
On July 7, 1948, in Bernadine M. Carroll,
she married Dr. Harvey J. Brechtl. He survives with four
daughters, Carol Dalglish of San Antonio, Karen Brechtl of
Mishawaka, Joan Richards of Indianapolis, and Anne Richmond
of South Bend; a son, Robert of South Bend; and 10 grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Granger.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the
church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park,
Granger. Friends may call one half hour before services on Friday
in the church. Bubb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph
County.
