Charles E. Brazell

MISHAWAKA - Charles E. Brazell, 81, died Saturday, March
24. He was born in Huntsville, AL, on October 13, 1925, to Ernest
and Mary (Johns) Brazell. He married Emma Tincher and she
preceded him in death on May 31, 2000. He was also preceded in
death by his parents, and by a daughter, Pat (David) Keenan in
2006. Mr. Brazell is survived by a daughter, Marilyn (Ed) Akers
of Macon, GA; two sons, Paul Brazell of South Bend and Michael
(Joy) Brazell of Vidalia, GA; a stepdaughter, Michele Sherk
of Ackworth, GA; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He
is also survived by a sister, Julia Mae Maze of Alabama;
and four brothers, Frank, Gene, Alton and Alonzo, all of Alabama.
Charles retired in 1988 from Uniroyal. He was a World War II Navy veteran, being honorably discharged in 1946, and was a member of VFW Post #360.
Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 29th, in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Friday, with Rev. Ervin Mize officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery where graveside military services will be conducted by American Legion Post #161 and VFW Post #360.
