William H. Braunsdorf Sr.

William H. Braunsdorf, 90, of 505 Ohio St., died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Nusbaum-Elkin funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services for William H. Braunsdorf Sr., 90, of 505 Ohio St., who died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Walkerton.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.

Mr. Braunsdorf retired from the former Studebaker Corp. as accountant supervisor of accounts receivable after 41 years of employment.  He was born Nov. 19, 1901, in South Bend and lived in Walkerton for four years, coming from South Bend. 

On Aug. 4, 1931, in South Bend, he married Clara Ann Weber.  She survives with a daughter, Carol Braunsdorf of Walkerton; a son, William H. Jr. of Thonotosassa, Fla.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Hennion of South Bend.  He was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, a member of the church and was former president of South Bend Bowling Association.
