Virginia M. Braunsdorf

Virginia M. Braunsdorf, 67, of Beverly Place, died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in Healthwin Hospital.  Mrs. Braunsdorf was born Dec. 30, 1923, in Detroit and lived in South Bend most of her life. 

On Aug. 1, 1942, in South Bend, as Virginia M. Bradley, she married Robert. L. Braunsdorf.  He survives with a daughter, Kathleen Dvorak of Granger; a son, John T. of South Bend; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Donald Bradley of Elkhart.  A son, Martin, died in 1974.  She was a charter member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, a volunteer for the American Red Cross and Arthritis Foundation, and president of PHCC Women’s Auxiliary.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Healthwin Hospital.
