Henry Brandley, aged 66, of Portage
Township, died Monday afternoon of pneumonia after an illiness of
one week. He was born in Switzerland in 1848. For 33 years the
deceased lived in South Bend and was a member of the Sons of
Herman, Kansas Workmen and United Workmen. He is survived by a
widow, and two children, W.M. and Henry Brandley.
Funeral services will be held at the
residence at 2 o’clock Thurdsay afternoon. The Rev.
MartinGoffeney, of Zion’s Evangelical Church, will officiate
and burial will be in City Cemetery.
