MISHAWAKA - Rose C. Branaman passed away June 8th at the
age of 94 surrounded by her family. She was born in 1913 to
Catherine and Edward Hubertz in Perry Township, Indiana.
Rose was a beautician and a seamstress at the Culver Military
Academy for 16 years. She married Wayne Branaman in 1939, to whom
she was married for 48 years. Rose will be forever remembered as
a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. On Sunday Rose
joined her husband, Wayne, sisters, Margaret, Loretta and Elda,
and a brother, Carl, who all preceded her in death. She is
survived by her daughter, Janet (Victor) Salazar of
Mishawaka; grandson, Charles (Jamie) Hedman of
Indianapolis, IN; granddaughter, Angela Hedman of Rochester, MN;
and a sister-in-law, Bernice Hubertz of Ft. Wayne, IN.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today,
June 10th, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St.,
Mishawaka, and one hour prior to the service in the church on
Wednesday. A Rosary service will be held this evening at 8 p.m.
in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at
1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11th, in St. Pius X Catholic Church,
52553 Fir Road, Granger, with Fr. William Schooler officiating.
Burial to follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger.
