Velma A. Brady, 70, of South Bend, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, July 13, in Hospice House of St. Joseph County. She was born in South Bend on Nov. 19, 1933, to William and Hazel Fugate.

Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Brady. Survivors include her daughter, Debra Brady of South Bend; her sons, William Murphy of Florida and Robert Brady of South Bend; her grandchildren, Robert Brady Jr., Joshua Sage and Angela Sage, and Gary Borton; and her great-granddaughter, Riley Borton.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today, July 15, in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.
