Grace Brady

''Lucy'' Grace Brady, 89, of Monterey, Calif., formerly of Mishawaka, Ind., died Sunday, Dec. 22, 1996 at the Crestwood Convalescent Hospital in Monterey. Mrs. Brady was born in Mishawaka on July 6, 1907, to Joseph E. and Lola Mae Webster. She retired in 1975 after 22 years as a Bank Teller for the 1st National Bank of Mishawaka.

On Dec. 25, 1929, in Mishawaka she married Walter E. Brady, who has since passed away. Surviving is a son, Roger C. Brady of Salinas, Calif.; two grandchildren; Lillian Grace Manchester Brady, age 6, and Benjamin Schmidt Brady, both of Salinas, Calif.; two sisters, Kathryn Brady of Howe, Ind., and Jean Stansfield of Blue Springs, Mo. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Webster.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where friends may call two hours prior to the funeral service on Saturday. Officiating will be Pastor David Miller of the 1st Baptist Church of Mishawaka. Burial of her cremains will be at the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to the 1st Baptist Church or to the charity of the donor's choice. Mrs. Brady was a lifelong member of the 1st Baptist Church of Mishawaka.
