SOUTH BEND - Mary Ellen Bradford, 42, of 1629 S. Pulaski St., died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center of natural causes. Mrs. Bradford was employed by Toro Wheelhorse Co. She was born Feb. 26, 1952, in Waterford, Miss., and lived in South Bend 30 years, coming from Waterford.

On Aug. 21, 1971, in South Bend, she married Edward Bradford. He survives, with a daughter, Sha Von E. Bradford of South Bend; a son, Edward D. of South Bend; her mother, Magnolia Jones of South Bend; her father, Ellis Dean of South Bend; four sisters, Bessie Page, Nannie Cash, Magdalene Dean, and Brenda Dean, all of South Bend; and two brothers, John L. Dean and Ellis Dean, both of South Bend.

Private services will take place. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Alford's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
