Miriam Louise Harbaugh Boyer, 89, of South Bend, Ind., died on Tuesday, Feb. 22, in Memorial Hospital. She was born on Jan. 5, 1911. She left three children and their spouses, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many, many friends.

She worshiped her God and cherished her church. She loved and nurtured her family. Her friends were her great joy and inspiration. She welcomed each season of each year in her garden and in her life.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. today in the First Christian Church, located on Jefferson and Eddy. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to service time in the church. Private entombment services will follow. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the First Christian Church. The Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
