GRANGER - Jovon Lamarr Boyer, 41, formerly of Detroit, MI, passed away Monday in Saint Joseph Reg. Med. Center. Survivors include his wife, Kistra Johnson-Boyer; his mother, Sharon D. Boyer of Detroit; and a sister, Darlene Boyer, also of Detroit. Memorial service Saturday at noon inNew Hope Church Ministries. The funeral will be in Detroit on Saturday, April 17, at 11 a.m. in Church of God of Baldwin, with visitation on Friday, April 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the James H. Cole Funeral Home, 2624 W. Grand Blvd., Detroit. Cobb Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
