SOUTH BEND - Emma L. Boulter, 95, of
Regency Place, died at 6:45 p.m. Sunday in the nursing home. Mrs.
Boulter was a former bank bookkeeper in Colorado. She was born
Dec. 20, 1898, in Bremen and lived in South Bend since 1979,
coming from Loveland, Colo.
On Sept. 11, 1932, in Salt Lake City, as
Emma Bornemann, she married Leon Wiedenheft. He
died Oct. 23, 1968. On Oct. 19, 1973, she married John G.
Boulter. He died Sept. 2, 1983. She is survived by a brother,
M.G. Bornemann of Granger; four nieces, Martha J. Page of
South Bend, Irene Tyson of Tavares, Fla., Ruth Cummings
of Portland, Ore., and Mary Dull of Syracuse; and a
nephew, Phillip Bornemann of Fort Wayne. She was a former
volunteer at Michiana Community Hospital and Veteran
Administration Medical Center, Cheyenne, Wyo., and was a member
of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Granger.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the
church. Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from
4 to 6 p.m. today in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033
Cleveland Road.
