Raymond Boudonck

Services for Raymond Boudonck, 78, of Ridgedale Nursing Center, South Bend, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Bavo’s Catholic Church.  A former Mishawaka resident, he died at 6 a.m. Sunday at Ridgedale after a lengthy illness.  Rev. Paul Bueter, St. Bavo’s pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Friends may call in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.  A rosary service is planned at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Born in Mishawaka on March 6, 1905, he was a lifelong area resident.  He retired in 1969 after 40 years of employment at Saint Mary’s Convent, South Bend.  

On Aug. 25, 1934, in Mishawaka, he married Margaret Schoonaert, who survives.  Also surviving are a sister, Elsie Honold, and a brother, Emiel Boudonck, both of Mishawaka, and several nieces and nephews.
