PFC Ronald J. Borowitz
The body of Pfc. Ronald J. Borowitz, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Stanley Borowitz, of 106 North Johnson Street, who died
in action with the United States arms in Italy March 25, 1944,
will arrive here Wednesday. Friends may call in the Hay Funeral
home after 4 p.m. on that day and until the funeral there at 2
p.m. Thursday. Rev. Paul Rasche, pastor of St. Peter's
Evangelical and Reformed church, will read the service. Burial
will be in Highland cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by
members of the D.A.V. unit No. 6
Pfc. Borowitz was born in south Bend May 16, 1920,
and interred military services Nov. 14, 1941. Surviving besides
his parents are two brothers, Joseph and Harold, and two sisters,
Mrs. Edward Rotzill and Miss. Amanda Borowitz, all of South Bend.
