Brother Vianney Borlik, FSC

Born Ervin John Borlik, son of Albin and Lottie Borlik, South Bend, brother of Jerome Borlik, South Bend, and sister, Mary Jane Mackowiak, South Bend, died at the age of 84, at Mont LaSalle, Napa, Calif.

Daniel Borlik, South Bend, his brother and Margaret K. West, his sister, Dayton, Ohio, preceded him in death. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Brother Vianney entered the Christian Brothers Novitiate on July 5, 1953, and made his Perpetual Vows on June 26, 1960, at Saint Mary's College, Moraga, Calif. His assignments were in California high schools and colleges as a teacher and librarian. He was buried in Mont LaSalle, Napa, Calif. on Nov. 16, 1996. Claffey & Rota Funeral Home, Napa, handled arrangements.
