Mrs. Minnie A Boocher

October 31, 1889 – March 21, 1978

Mrs. Minnie A. Boocher, 88, of 57633 Blackberry Road, was dead on arrival at St Joseph Hospital at 7:45am today.

Mrs. Boocher was born on October 31, 1889, in Plymouth and had lived in Mishawaka 10 years and in South Bend for many years.  She was retired after 30 years of employment at UniRoyal, Inc.  As Minnie Mummey, she married John E. Boocher in South Bend and he died in October 1963.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Don (Fern) Scott of Mishawaka; two sons, Raymond of Mishawaka, and Vernon of South Bend, seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Powell, South Bend.  Mrs. Boocher was a member of the Penway Church of God.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel.

Funeral Notes

Services for Mrs. Minnie A. Boocher, 88, of 57633 Blackberry, who was dead on arrival at 7:45am Tuesday in St Joseph Hospital, will be at 1pm Thursday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel.  Rev. Ervin Mize, pastor of the Pennway Church of God, will officiate, and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today in the funeral home.
