MISHAWAKA - Maurice Bonne, 99, of West Eighth Street, died at 7:15 p.m. Friday in his home. Mr. Bonne retired from Uniroyal in 1959 after 39 years of service. He was born June 21, 1894, in Wingene, Belgium, moving to this area in 1920 from Belgium.

On Nov. 30, 1935, in Mishawaka, he married Louise Raab. She died Nov. 14, 1972. Surviving are a grandson, James H. Smith of Warick, R.I.; and two great-grandsons. A daughter, Genevieve Smith, died in 1978. He was a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Hahn Funeral Home, where a wake prayer service will be at 3:45 p.m.
