SOUTH BEND – Michael Bongiovanni, 73, of 722 E. LaSalle Street, was dead on arrival at about 2:30 pm Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital of an apparent heart attack. He was born July 28, 1895 in Italy. He married Dec. 17, 1918 in Italy to Conadina Scala, who survives, along with a daughter, Mrs. DeVon Micinski of South Bend; four grandchildren; two sisters and a brother living in Italy. He was a retired employee of the Roach Appleton  Company.
