18, 1949 - Feb. 10, 2010SOUTH BEND - Rose Ann Bond, 60, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. She was born to the late Charles and Margie Bond on December 18, 1949, in South Bend, IN. Rose accepted Christ at a early age at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Julliet, GA. She graduated from Lasalle High School in 1968. She worked for Teachers Credit Union for many years and was presently employed by Marikol Marketing Services Inc. Rose leaves to cherish her loving memory one son, Ronald M. Burkes; two granddaughters, Michaela and Marijah Stansberry; four brothers, Randy (Michele) Bond of Indianapolis, Ronnie (Mai) Bond of Fort Wayne, Donald Bond of St. Louis, MO, and Charles (Kay) Bond; two sisters, Evelyn (Clifton) Burd of Versailles, KY, and Sandra Bond of Louisville, KY. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Antoinette and Christine Seward. Funeral services will be held in the Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home, 2702 Lincoln Way West, on Tuesday, February 16; visitation at 11:00 a.m. and funeral services at noon. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, South Bend. The Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
