SOUTH BEND - Memorial services for Karen
Stilp Bond, 51, of West Ireland Road, who died at 4:30 a.m.
Sunday in her home after an illness, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday
in Coalbush United Methodist Church, Mishawaka. Cremation has
taken place. There will be no visitation. Welsheimer Funeral Home
is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made
to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc. or American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Bond was a former real estate broker
for 20 years. She was born Nov. 22, 1943, in Liberty, Ind., and
lived in South Bend since 1960.
On Dec. 30, 1988, in South Bend, as Karen Stilp,
she married Robert L. Bond. He survives with a stepdaughter,
Michelle R. Tincher of Ridgecrest, Calif.; two stepsons,
James L. Bond of Pittsburgh and Jack Stilp of Nevada; a sister,
Carolyn Schwegman of Indianapolis; and two brothers, Lynn Hileman
of Fishers, Ind., and Layne Hileman of Mishawaka. She was a
member of Indiana Association of Realtors and past board member
of South Bend Area Crime Stoppers program.
