NEW CARLISLE - Zelma Mae ''Marie'' Bolinger, 43, of Filbert Street, New Carlisle, Ind., passed away at 6:05 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, in the Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. Zelma was born in South Bend on Oct. 12, 1954, to the late Clyde and Gertrude Luke.
In Mishawaka, Ind., on Feb. 28, 1979, as Zelma Mae Luke, she married James M. Bolinger, who survives. She is also survived by her two sisters, Harriet Walton of New Carlisle and Eldonia Cole of Elkhart, Ind.; five brothers, Delbert Luke of New Carlisle, Larry Luke of Elkhart, Clyde Luke of New Carlisle, Gerald Luke of Oceanside, Calif., and Lester Luke of New Carlisle.
Zelma worked for the Sunshine Holiday Cleaners and the Mini Mountain Campgrounds. Zelma was a member of the New Carlisle Civil Defense and was also active in the New Carlisle Bowling League.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Bubb Funeral Chapel North. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Rev. Bob Baird will officiate. Burial will be in the New Carlisle Cemetery, New Carlisle.
