MISHAWAKA - Blanche Bolinger, 85, of Borley Avenue, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 7:21 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, in St. Joseph Community Hospital. Blanche was born Oct. 12, 1911, in Mishawaka, to Marcus and Anna (Newman) Bachtel, who both preceded her in death.

She married Arthur D. Bolinger in Mishawaka on June 5, 1937. He preceded her in death on June 26, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her son Charles, who died in 1966. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Blanche was a homemaker, a kind and generous person who would give you the shirt off her back as attested by those who knew her. Blanche was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Mishawaka where she was active in Sunday School. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will be conducted by Rev. David Miller at 10 a.m. on Monday. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
