SOUTH BEND - Martha Boles, 81, of Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth, formerly of South Bend, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday in the nursing home.

Mrs. Boles was born May 27, 1912, in Indianapolis. Her husband, Newel Boles, preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Hill of South Bend; and two grandchildren, Robin Welcome and Michael Hill, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Burial will follow. Friends may call an hour before services in the chapel. Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
