MISHAWAKA - Grant P. Bolen, 86, of Seelyville, Ind., formerly of Mishawaka, died at 1:20 a.m. today in Royal Oaks Nursing Home, Terre Haute, Ind. Mr. Bolen retired in 1974 as the owner and operator of the former Bolen Gulf Service. He was born Dec. 9, 1908, in Hume, Ill.

In 1929, he married Dorothy V. Ives. She died in 1990. Surviving are a daughter, Prudy L. Parsons of Farmington, N.M.; three sons, Ned C. of Tiverton, R.I., Douglas of Seelyville, and Jeffery of St. Louis; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was a 50-year member of Osceola Masonic Lodge 742 and a member of East United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Bubb Funeral Chapel Downtown, 202 N. Main St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
