Sister Mary Evangel Boland CSC

Sister Mary Evangel CSC, died Thursday morning at St. Mary’s College of pneumonia and leakage of the heart. She had been ill for three years. She had been engaged as assistant potriatress and in the telephone office at St. Mary’s for the past six years. Her name was formerly Miss Margarert Canty Boland. She entered the community of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1910 and took her final vows in 1916. She was born in 1884.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at St. Mary’s and burial was in the convent cemetery.
