James I. Boland, 1024 E. Napoleon Blvd., died at 6:13 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Hospital after an illness of one week. He was born in Lansing, Mich., Dec. 28, 1891. He was married to Mary Couch Sept. 1, 1920 in South Bend. Surviving are the widow and a son James F. of Crown Point, Ind. Mr Boland was a member of the Notre Dame Monogran Club, a World War I veteran, and a member of the American Foundry Society and of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He retired in 1955 from Oliver Corp.
Friend may call after 6 p.m. today in the Hickey Funeral Home. Services will be Tuesday morning in St, Joseph’s Church, with burial in Highland Cemetery.
