Joseph Boktor.
Joseph Boktor, 90, of 617 E. Napoleon, died
shortly after 11 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital of
self-inflicted gunshot and stab wounds according to St. Joseph
County Deputy Coroner Dr. L. Grwinski, who ruled the death a
suicide. He was a retired employee of the South Bend Lathe
Co. He was born May 14, 1889 in Hungary, and had lived in South
Bend for 68 years. In 1935 in South Bend, he married Juliet
Toth, who died in 1959. Surviving are four sisters,
Mrs. Julia Molnar and Mrs. Veronica Bogovich, both
of South Bend, and Mrs. Margaret Borondich and Mrs. Mary Kakcsa,
both of Yugoslavia, and a brother, John of Yugoslavia.
Services will be at 10 am. Thursday in the
Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery,
Walkerton. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday in the Zahoran Funeral Home. Memorial
contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.
