MISHAWAKA - Clara M. Bokhart, 90, of Elm Road, died at 7:55 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Hospital of Mishawaka after an illness. Mrs. Bokhart was born Feb. 23, 1905, in Mishawaka. On April 21, 1926, in Mishawaka, as Clara M. Veevaete, she married Arthur E. Bokhart. He died June 1, 1989. Surviving are a son, Richard E. of Mishawaka; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was a charter member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and a member of New Tamarack Grange.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday in Hahn Funeral Home, where wake prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
