Alice R. Bogoslawski:

Alice R. Bogoslawski, 74, Michigan City, died at 7 a.m. Saturday
(Aug. 1, 1998) at her home. The funeral service will be at 10
a.m. Wednesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel with
Monsignor Michael Tomszewski officiating. Burial will be in St.
Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday
and 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. The rosary will
be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Mrs.
Bogoslawski was born Oct. 6, 1923, in Michigan City, the daughter
of Alex and Cecelia Layman Urban. On Oct. 25, 1941, in Michigan
City, she married Gregory Bogoslawski, who died Nov. 4, 1995.
Surviving are three sons, Gregory A. (Rhonda) Bogoslawski,
Columbia, Mo., Richard J. (Mary Jo) Bogoslawski, Upland, Calif.,
Dale R. (Diane) Bogoslawski, LaPorte; nine grandchildren; three
step-grandchildren; a great-grandchild; five
step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Losiniecki,
Michigan City, Henrietta Semala, South Bend, Florence Sobkowiak,
Michigan City; and a brother, Richard Urban, Michigan City. Two
sisters, Genevieve Boyan, Ann Schmidt; and a brother, Anthony
Urban, all preceded her in death. Mrs. Bogoslawski was retired as
a central services clerk with St. Anthony Memorial Health
Centers. She also worked at Sears, Society Silks, both in
Michigan City and was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
The World War II War Mothers Unit 157 will conduct a memorial
service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral
Chapel. Michigan City.
