Mrs. Ralph A. Bogie

July 23, 1896 – May 8, 1956

Mrs. Clara L. Bogie, 1419 S. Michigan St., died at 9:50pm Tuesday in her residence after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.

She was born July 23, 1896, in Fort Wayne IN; and came here in 1906 from Bourbon IN.  She was married to Ralph A. Bogie, who died April 16, 1956, on August 15, 1950.  She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Bashara; a daughter, Mrs. Harvey Brewer; three grandchildren, all of South Bend; a brother, Lawrence Bashara, of Mishawaka, and tow sisters, Miss Esther Bashara, of South Bend, and Mrs. J. J. Flannery of Chicago.

Friends may call after 7pm Thursday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2pm Saturday, Rev. Wilson Parks, of Broadway Evangelical United Brethren Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  She was a member of the auxiliary to Studebaker Post 3931, VFW.
